Forum Member Sighting At TechExpo 2009

Postby timbre4 » Sun Mar 15, 2009 7:41 pm

Dateline: Downtown Milwaukee Saturday March 14th

So there I was standing in the hallway behind the door, waiting my turn to go in and setup my gadgets for the Mitchell1 seminar. There were several folks lined up to go in as soon as the previous show ended, we exchanged smiles of recognition (I also presented last year) as we waiting out turn. Then all of a sudden...

This young fellow stepped over to where I was standing and spoke to me. HE STUNNED ME by saying something maybe 3 people on Earth know. The look on my face must've been priceless! Don't ask me, I won't give this up. 8)

Then he introduced himself and put out his hand to shake mine. It was noneother than our very own timjlive

He not only attended the seminar, I called on him as an experienced forum member to describe what the forum is like to his peers. We had some great discussions going and I expect some new folks to be dropping in on us as a result.

It's so great to have forum members pop up at these events so we can put faces to names and such.

Tim, You beat me to it.

One Tech Expo registration..... $99

Two very small sodas at lunch......$5

Tim's expression when I stepped up to him and started talking.....................PRICELESS.

You know, I'm surprised that I can still post here

But seriously, Tim did a great job presenting and really talked up the forum and Performance Center. For only having an hour, a lot of material was covered and no questions were left unanswered.

Auto Value also did a spectacular job putting together great training (for techs and management) and a fantastic trade floor. I would recommend going to one. I know I will go again.

As Tim says, AutoValue (member of the Bumper To Bumber group) really puts on a great weekend for it's customers. Trade show, entertainment, seminars are all parts of a really great overall design. I've been doing the Michagan shows for several years and signed on for the Wisconsin edition last year.

Already set for next year!
