6.5.49 CRM Button

6.5.49 CRM Button

Postby Rich » Tue Nov 18, 2014 5:24 am

Just updated to 6.5.49 this morning. Now we have another button at the bottom. Pretty blue right next to "parts ordering".

How do I rid my screen of this button that we don't use and most likely never will. Yes I know, its just a small little button, get use to it. But little by little we are getting more "little" buttons and my Type A personality is going insane. I am that guy that only has three links on my desk top.

I think it's new to 49. I just upgraded today from 47 and it appeared.

Great addition if you're using CRM. Very powerful tool. I'll be using it a lot.

Rich, get your boss to pony up for CRM. Lot's of great stuff there.

We won't use CRM, and the stupid button is in my way. I put a piece of black tape on my monitor to cover it up.

Hahahahahaha now that is a new one for me Rich. BTW if you ever saw my desktop of icons it would send you screaming into the night. I can barely make out the desktop picture.

Paul, My boss has a ton of them. I go home open my lap top, I have two users set up. Both are me. One if for my Fire stuff and the other is for photos/movie editing. I can not stand to look at the FD stuff while working on photos and the other way around. And it is all mine. Next week I will talk about the insanity that happens when some jack.....rabbit uses my stapler and doesn't put it back the way it HAS to be.......

(rich wonders if he should push Tim buttons by starting another topic and ask how to remove black tape from monitor as it is blocking useful items)

Having the customer sign the credit card slip on the signature capture processor which then places their sig on the final invoice AND the cc slip is pretty awesome. Then I will automagically print their LOF sticker with recommendations to our thermal printer.

BAM! Automation!

Bam Automation! Great for you young pups. Me? I like it old school. Remember I bucked the system when the Microfiche system was being replaced by a computer.

So who in here ever worked for Ford and found "the Mouse" in the microfiche slide? I got two in 4 years.

Never found a CRM button though......

As shop accounts are added to the updater list, you will see the screen prompt that an update is available. We create releases, put them out and monitor for a while before going wide release in case there is a problem.
