eCRM Issues With Appointment Reminders

Is anyone else having problems with the new appointment reminder feature of eCRM? I have customers who are being reminded for the wrong date and others who received 6 reminders for a single visit. My rep is working on the problem but I wanted to gauge the scope here as well.

Well that was the quickest resolution yet. The problem was on our end with how we use the scheduler.

For those who may not be aware, eCRM now can send your customers appointment reminders from your schedule. Real nice feature.

Yes, we had the e-mails for a couple days... chaos also.. it emailed the customers the wrong times & dates. Highly recommend the bolt-on/ message pro for reminders... We do not use it to make future appointments on its own, for oil changes, etc. We just have it send out text message reminders the day before for appointments. It does not send out times. Very reliable for the dates too.

So far in our case the errors in dates were caused by us. We use the schedule to track our loaner cars by customer. We didn't realize that the program was sending reminders for all those entries. We no longer attach the customer to those entries. I hope that cures the erroneous emails.

One thing I don't like is that I don't see any of the reminder emails so there is no way I can track their accuracy. I'm working with my agent on that front.
