X Charge & conversion from 5.9 to 6.4

X Charge & conversion from 5.9 to 6.4

Postby atobias » Sun Nov 17, 2013 8:40 am

We have used X Charge on 5.9 since it was available. I have shopped the fees and found several processors that can beat them. This is typical. X Charge does adjust their rates but you must watch them all the time as they add fees and rate creep occurs without notice.

Two of the proposed processors say they can use the integration used in the Manager program so I can continue using epay.

FIRST, is that true? 2nd, if I change now then upgrade to 6.4, will the integration break?

Is anyone else using a processor besides X Charge?

I'm not using X charge but the point you made about watching the % and hidden charges are a great point. An example would be a customer comes in with a complaint and you find they were charged twice for a service. I write a check for the refund because I found if I swipe the card for a refund I get charged for a transaction and a % on the amount. I made a huge mistake on a credit card a few years ago. I added an extra zero and immediately refunded the amount over charged. Huge mistake, should have cancelled and did it again. Watch the pennies and the dollars will be ok.
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

There is no resident tech support agent in Mitchell 1 for X-Charge, just product management.

If you need technical assistance, support says to contact X-Charge by 800# or email: http://www.x-charge.com/
