VIN Scanning QR Code?

VIN Scanning QR Code?

On the then 2015 vehicle they have a QR code instead of a barcode and I haven't been able to scan the VIN. I have no problems decoding the VIN after entering it in manually. Am I doing something wrong?

Your bar code reader may not be capable of reading a QRC.

So you are saying Samsung Galaxy Tablet model #SM-T520may not have the capability? Does Bolt-On have the software for reading the codes and if so what does Bolt On recommend for scanning these QRCs?

Hi Saline Auto,

Our software development team is in the process of updating our Mobile Manager Pro software to allow for QR Code scanning capability. We expect the release to be in the coming weeks.

Once this update is complete, our customers will have this capability on all devices. We recommend Samsung Galaxy Pro 10.1 or Nexus 7. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
