Start Order For New Customer or New Vehicle

I tried to start an order for an existing customer with a new vehicle. I may be doing something wrong but I couldn't make it happen. Nor could I start an order for a new customer. It seems MM is limited to starting orders for only existing customers and vehicles. Please tell me I'm wrong.

Your wrong........ LOL In the Work in progress window hit the Plus sign and then the
3 dots in the upper right corner and add a new customer option appears

Thanks. I was really hoping I was wrong. Those dots are settings on the other screens so I didn't think to look there.

Success! What a cool feature!! Started a new order for an existing customer with a NEW vehicle. Scanned the VIN. Added the labors. Boom.

Can we convert the Estimate to an RO on the tablet?

Currently converting an estimate into a work order is not available due to a limiting function in Mitchell. We hope to have a work around developed in the future.

Hoping to see that feature in the future.

Been working in the office this week and starting orders with MM. If you aren't already doing this you gotta give it a try. So cool. Can the HAT number be added along with location? These are the only two things keeping us from going full steam.

At this point there is no way to add Hat or location. BUT a possible work around would be to use the Unit # on the Vehicle Tab in Mobile Manger. You have a 15 character limit that you could use for the Hat # and Location. The only issues I see with this is that this information will carry on through every time the vehicle is in. So you would have to be sure that on arrival the info is replaced.

Then there is the Memo field also that can be used. More characters but must be changed each visit.
