Lube Sticker Pro Looks At History Records For Future?

Lube Sticker Pro Looks At History Records For Future?

Postby BedfordAutoClinic » Thu Jul 27, 2017 11:28 am

Hello my question is this as we move closer and closer to adding this technology at the shop.

Will Lube Sticker Pro look at history files and determine who has or has not been in for LOF and then make recommendation on preset appointments or even go ahead and prebook them based on
their history and driving habits? Or will it only start when we go live so to speak?

Lube sticker will begin to set its own appointments when you start it. It does look at previous scheduled oil changes and send reminders for them if it recognizes them.
Message Manager (Included with Lube Sticker.) presents away to contact those who Lube Sticker Pro doesn't schedule.

There will be a ramp up period when starting to use Lube Sticker. You need to have a converstion with your customers too so they don't freak out when the get a reminder for the soft appointment set up by lube sticker.

These are items I cover when I do training webinars.

Relationship between Lube Sticker Pro and Mitchell CRM

Postby scarruther1 » Wed Sep 13, 2017 9:38 am

Are the automated oil change reminder appointments generated by Lube Stocker Pro part of the SocialCRM package?

I noticed that OEM Reminders are sent, but not the recommendations ie. oil change appointments generated by Lube Sticker Pro? Should this be done manually?

What is the best way to communicate and use the recommendations generated by Lube Sticker Pro?

Thanks

When set up properly, Lube Sticker Pro will not only calculate and set the next appointment and recommendation point, it will send out a reminder text a set number of days in advance of the appointment.

It is important that you explain this to your customers so they don't get upset because they do not have any knowledge of an appointment already being set.

Social CRM pulls from the recommendations set by lube sticker pro or manaully.

So Social CRM does not send e-mail reminders for the lubepro generated "recommendations" for oil changes? But we can send/automate texts from lubepro.

Social CRM doesn't seem to know either?

Trying not to do the same thing twice.
Thanks

Most CRM products look at the recommendations that are due to send follow up reminders.
You can set your own recommendations, but you will see that Bolt On Products also set the recommendations.
So eventually the CRM should pick up on all recommendations unless in the CRM settings something is changed not to.

Yes, it will duplicate the the reminders if both are turned on.

Hope this helps.

That is the problem: Mitchell's CRM package does not pick up the recommendations made by LubePro.

When I called my CRM agent his answer was "We don’t send Oil Change reminders out. That’s a program called Pro Pack. We do send timing belts reminders out and service reminders according to what you put in the system"

Isn't that the same thing?

Does anyone know how these work together? Seems little disjointed and I'm ready to jump ship to Demandforce

I think your agent may be mistaken or may be misunderstanding your question. Here is a clip from my CRM portal. It shows an email sent to a customer for an oil change. That recommendation was created by Lube Sticker Pro.

I checked and crm is sending the ProPack generated reminder/recommendations on OEM Scheduled Maintenance Reminders, as well as other recommendation we've entered.

But the OEM reminder for a Nissan Juke @ 120K is for an oil change, so an oil change recommendation is going on the reminder twice?

Thanks for your help. I'm posting this on CRM forum too as it's kind of a grey area

As mentioned, Lube Sticker Pro does put in a recommendation for oil changes a long with other items built in Advanced scheduling.
If a CRM reads the recommendations to send reminders, all of these should be treated like any other recommendation.

We have been on Propack now for a couple of months and lube sticker pro has not went through history and reminded previous history customers, it does however do a great job of pre scheduling and reminding on the business we are doing now that we have Propack.

I was under the understanding that it would go back through history and find those LOFs and then start sending out reminders for those customers? Maybe I misread that or misunderstood capabilities. It does work great though no complaints really thus far!

You are right, it will do that. I have not had my coffee yet, so give some other members some time and I'm sure they'll chime in with the solution

Lube Sticker sends the reminders out 7 days in advance of the next appointment. Any previous oil changes that it come upon do this it will send a reminder. It does not go backwards looking for previous oil changes.

Sorry if there was any miscommunication.

Hmmmm, it definitely used to be a feature. I've been a bolt on customer for 3+ years I think, so they may have done away with the feature. I certainly remember when we first signed up that you could have the program look back through your history and schedule 100s of appts based on history in the system. Maybe they got rid of it since I can't find it now

Its not that big of a deal I suppose, as we do like the system, no complaints!
But when we were looking in to getting this and it was quite a long process, we wanted to be sure we had out ducks in a row! That we knew what was expected and to be expected this was high on our list to go back through roughly about 3 months for LOFs that had been done and go ahead and soft schedule those and send reminders.
I have yet to find where I can make the system do that? That is why I asked, I knew I was not crazy as we specifically asked that question and was told yes it will and that it is highly recommended to not go back too far that is why we picked 3 months that is what was suggested!

Its fine though we do like the system.

I looked through the lube sticker program, report pro, and message manager this morning, along with the help document. Couldn't find it anywhere!!! I know I'm not going crazy, but I remember we did this when we first got it.

Ok I was finally able to find the section on Lube Sticker Pro going back through history records and finding Oil change history and then scheduling them or recommending so you could prefill your schedule.

This was an article for new customers to Lube Sticker Pro -
Here is the link: http://mitchell1.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=601

and here is the content:
Lube Sticker Pro: Jump Start Your Calendar
Article Number: 601 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Tue, Jan 15, 2013 at 8:10 PM
LUBE STICKER PRO
Jump Start Your Calendar
This is recommended for new customers to prefill the next few months with appointments in your Calendar. This will also cause Message Manager to begin sending text message appointment reminders.
1. Click the Pro Pack button
2. Click the Lube Sticker Pro button
3. Click the Settings tab
4. Click the Automation tab
5. Click the Jump Start button
6. Select an Oil Change Canned job from the first drop down. This helps narrow down the line items for the next selection
7. Select the Line item that occurs on your oil changes. Once selected, the system will analyze history records to determine vehicles that have had an oil change performed in the past, have not returned for service and have a predicted appointment into the future.
8. Select the interval to apply to the analysis. By default, 3 months is selected. Increasing the interval will increase the number of appointments that can be booked. It is not recommended to go higher than 6 months.
9. Verify the number of appointments that will be placed on your calendar
10. Click the Book Appointments button
10.1.This action cannot be undone
11. Click the Save button

This looks like a one-time utility rather than an actual feature for regular use.
