Re-Order Revision Tabs For Report Pro?

Re-Order Revision Tabs For Report Pro?

Postby allan_fee » Mon Feb 22, 2016 5:30 am

Is there a way to re-order the tabs in revisions?

It would be helpful to be able to re-order (drag the first to last, etc) the tabs in the same way that you can do it on Google Chrome. Any chances of that happening?

I'd like to see this, too. Sometimes our customers would like print outs of the recommendations with prices, so they can plan ahead and budget. When I have air and cabin filters on revision 1 and leaking steering rack and brakes on revision 2 & 3, it would be nice to reorganize those in order of importance.

You are correct. I should have mentioned I was printing from bolt-on's report pro software. Perhaps is would be easier for them to capture the information and rearrange it rather then actually moving it around in Mitchell itself

timbre4, could you move this post to the bolt-on section so Mike might see it?

Hey guys,

Thanks for reaching out to us. This particular type of functionality would actually have to be built into Mitchell. There would need to be a way to prioritize the recommendations in Mitchell SE, to then use Report Pro to rearrange them. Without prioritizing functionality in Mitchell, Report Pro wouldn’t know the difference between the revisions.

Hope this helps, and makes sense. Let us know if you need anything else.
