HCtruckRepairNyJR, thanks for the nice comments on the invoices. Just an FYI, the Pro Pack will include much more than just a new invoice layout, actually there are five new templates for you to choose from:

- Modern (Think thin lines, rounded corners, cleaner font - and of course by the job layout)
- Classic (Think hard edges, boxed right angle corners, shadowing behind total box - and of course by the job layout)
- Landscape (Pictured above, horizontal print - and of course by the job layout)
- Legacy Landscape (What I call side by side, parts on left - labor on right, however does include all of our customization opportunities)
- Legacy Portrait (Again, side by side, however we pinched the parts side slightly to allow you more labor description and this also includes all of our customization options)

Customization: (virtually infinite...)
- Point & Click shop logo
- Shop contact information (Name,Address,Phone,Slogan,License, etc. - If this info is in your logo, then you don't need it on printed)
- Paid Stamp (think quick books, on an invoice with a zero balance the invoice will "rubber stamp" paid)
- Display Web site (and it is a link, to your url, when you email the pdf version to the customer)
[*] - Add a QR Code, you pick the path to send the customer (think review site...)
- Primary and Secondary accent colors, "Brand" the lines and background colors to match your company colors
- Part Prices, Part Numbers on or off
- On the Job Summary, show labor / parts / sublet sub totals
- Watermark Initials
- Recommendations
[*] Accent Color
[*] Show QR "action" code, for customer to scan and put appointment into their mobile device
- Unsold Revisions
[*] Revisions 1 - 4, display the top line (needs to be labor) as a description
[*] Example "Estimate for four tires and alignment"
[*] Estimate Prices on/off
- Sold Revisions
[*] Show the approval of sold revision estimates
- Discounts
[*] Label and highlight the amount saved on this invoice (think Kohls, CVS where they highlight the amount saved by shopping there)
- Social Media
[*] Show and Link to the following Social Media Sites
[*] - Facebook
[*] - Twitter
[*] - Linked In
[*] - You Tube
[*] - Sure Critic
- Credit Cards
[*] Show major credit cards (Visa, MC, Discover, AMEX)
[*] Two configurable credit card options (IE Goodyear, Fleet Card)
- Affiliate Logos
[*] Up to five affiliate logos
[*] - AAA, BG, Valvoline, AASP, ASA, ASC, etc.
- Coupons/Marketing
- Think grocery store, what happens when you leave?
[*] - Put Marketing that you want the customer to see in your customers hand
[*] - You control the text (ex. Coolant Flush $99.95, On Most Vehicles)

New Technician worksheet that includes (configurable [By Time, By Category, Length of time reported]) service history.
New Custom Multi Point Vehicle Inspection sheet (you customize the look/feel/check list/colors/and logic. And the check list reflects service history based on categories previously performed (shown above))
New Category Sales report, with current day, month to date & year to date all on the same report.

Application Tools...
[*] - Fix Odometer Readings
[*] - Update Category Assignments
[*] - Goodyear POSI Reporting

And that is just some of the features and benefits and reports and customization items just in report pro.

Then there is Lube Sticker Pro...
- Complete Manager integration
- reads current odometer and applies "smart" thinking
[*] - Type of oil used (good, better, best)
[*] - Days of the week the shop is open (no future appointment on a Sunday)
[*] - Miles per day the vehicle is driven

Auto set the next appointment automatically
[*] - It's like french fries at a fast food location, no matter what every time the expectation

Then there is Message Pro...
- Complete Manager integration
Have you ever left a voice mail on the home, work and cell phone and you are still waiting for approval for the vehicle on the lift?
- Text messaging can solve this issue!
- Customer can reply to message and it shows up on your computer running manager
- messages (conversations) linked to the customer

Send reminder alerts about future appointments (think lube sticker pro)
- Add "Reply C to confirm" to this message
- Now when your customer reply's C, Message Pro, will add the word "Confirmed" in front of the note in the scheduled event

All this and more available in the Pro Pack...

liljoe:
Pricing, it depends on how you purchase...
Each module can be purchased by itself, however you will get the most for your dollar if you by the entire "pack"!
However if you purchase all three in a "Bundle" it is less than $100.00/month. (Includes unlimited text plan)

Jeff:
The Pro Pack is compatible with both 5.9 and SE

Steve:
I too am a very visual person; I grasp things much quicker with a visual aid rather then just plain text. So while designing these modules I made sure that my team put together help files that included images from the software, with quick directions on how to use the features. I will add posts with examples of what I mean...

I am in love. But like Steve, I want to go to a class and learn how to use it. I can "mess" around all day and learn bits and pieces, but i wanna see the full potential. Like how do i get it to text a customer the job is done, how do i get it to email. But it looks AWESOME. Besides who doesn't want an excuse to meet other Mitchell Users?

We have been using the reminder/message program for over a year now and the invoices and everything for appox. 5 months. Very cool and really makes our invoices stand out and go BANG. Its very easy to use but it does take a few extra steps. Now that mitchell has it running thru them will it integrate with mitchell and take less clicks?

- Contact us here @ Bolt On, we have added many new "automated" features to eliminate the additional steps. It may just require a little hand holding to get your options setup. You may have not investigated the "what's new" features in your latest update...

Hello Mike, I have been keeping up with updates and have got things much more automated but was just wondering if with getting Mitchell on board they would have a button on the bottom of the screen like your bolt on button is now that would just print the invoice from there instead of going from one screen to another. But again I can't say enough on how my clients react to the new invoice look and comment on how much more professional they appear. I don't have any data on anyone using the QR codes but have many who have commented on how advanced we are with them.

Mike is a great guy and is very responsive to user needs. He doesn't seem like the type that would catch users on a technicality like that. Plus Mitchell would never put up with any shenanigans (sp?).

After watching the video, do the propack invoices replace the normal invoices - or do you have to click thru a few screens to get to them?

Your existing Invoices inside Manager remain the same; click Pro Pack (if not already opened), click Quick Invoice. It launches what you've previously setup as your preferred invoice.

If you install the ProPack and you decide not to use it - how to you uninstall it? There is no entry in the add/remove program. Unless I am missing something.

Is it possible to subscribe to just the reports? Those are very helpful and some where originally available when I signed on with Mitchell. That was one reason I originally signed up with Mitchell1...there reports were superior to what I was using. Then with the 6.4 upgrade it seemed a lot of the reports disappeared. Now its an add on service, don't really understand that. I called Mitchell1 tech support to inquire, they sent me to ProPack tech support at 610-400-1019 but advises that number is not in service. Frustrated in Michigan.

Some clarification is in order. Please note that Manager SE 6.4c released several months ago put SE on par with all standard 5.9 reports with maybe one or two exceptions that we decided not to do. This update did not include any custom 5.9 reports that had lesser distribution and application.

ProPack is a completely new and separate proposition. It includes a "by-the-job", customizable inspection form and much more. For full details on ProPack and the individual modules, visit m1propack.com.
