Single part records, fields, functions, transactions & inventory aspects
Hello gang. I have decided that this year I want to get my parts room organized and everything attempted to get in my inventory database. The big problem we have is all the little items(nuts, bolts, light bulbs and such) I have been using a barcode reader to create part numbers in the fields but what I would like to do is to generate barcode labels so I can build a 3 ring binder of the items. So if I or someone needs to enter a part # they just scan the barcode on the page and wham there it is. Has anyone done this or know how to do this? Thanks for the help.

The Brother P-Touch PC labelers will create bar codes from part numbers. See http://www.brother-usa.com/ptouch/ModelDetail.aspx?ProductID=PT1230PC
