Re: Sales Tax in Reports
I do see that one but that looks like it's the only one and its not particularly useful for what he is using. Is that the only one then? I think specifically he would like the Sales Summary - Yearly report and I think there's a few more with the graphs that he feels would be much more helpful to him ...

Sales Tax in Reports
I've got a quick question, the reports we typically run all have sales tax included in totals in the accounting reports. Are there any accounting reports that don't include sales tax in the totals? All the ones with graphs in sales summary reports would be nice to have without the sales tax included ...

Re: POLL: Revisions Tech Assignment
OH MY GOSH I was SO excited to see this thread this morning!! We have been desperatly wanting to be able to mark a technician in revisions, without having to mark them individually on each labor line. (That is horrible on things like engine jobs wooo boy!)

Re: 2003 Nissan Xterra - Two MIL Mysteries
We did do a spark indicator test, we did not try a running compression test however thank you for that information that will be really helpful in the future for sure! After the EGR cleaning and fuel system services the misfire immediatly cleared up. We ran it in the shop and test drove it a full ...

Re: 2003 Nissan Xterra - Two MIL Mysteries
Mileage is about 160k, oxygen sesnors are all checking out fine, Cylinder 2 is a definite consistent miss. Compression check shows only about a 2ish psi difference between all the cylinders. Cylinder 2 wasn't any higher than any of the rest of them. Fuel trims and fuel pressure have all been within ...

2003 Nissan Xterra - Two MIL Mysteries
So we've got a bit of a head scratcher in here this week. Well two technically and both are these darn Xterra's. But this one in particular came in for a MIL for a Misfire on cylinder 2. We replaced the spark plugs, wires, and EGR controller. Vehicle ran beautifully after this, we did this repair in ...

Re: CRM Button, Does it or Doesn't it?
We sent out our December newsletter using for the first time, Bolt On's lists. I got my first batch of returns last night. Most of them were average, people moved or gave wrong address or whatever. BUT there were two people that were on the Bolt On list who were marked OFF the CRM list in Mitchell ...

Re: CRM Button, Does it or Doesn't it?
I got it all figured out eventually, thanks!! This last time we generated a list from Mitchell for our monthly newsletter and there were MANY people who received newsletters who were NOT checked on CRM on their profiles. So this has really helped us out a lot.

Re: CRM Button, Does it or Doesn't it?
So when using this specific bolt on report, how do you configure Excel to delete names not on the CRM list?

Re: Support Kudos Mitchell 1
Can I add new kudos? Years of dealing with horrible tech support has left a sour taste in my mouth, so much so that I DREAD calling any kind of support line. However, every call in has been a pleasant and for the most part timely procedure and I so so appreciate it!!! Mitchell's tech team has single ...

Re: 2004 Jetta GLS - A/C Puzzle
Thank you everyone for the advice. It will be put to use at some point, unfortunately the client pulled the plug when we told him we would need some diagnostic time to continue on the issue. He will have it back in in a few weeks.

2004 Jetta GLS - A/C Puzzle
We've got a head scratch-er in the shop today. We did an evacuation and recharge with leak testing last week on the AC system, no leaks found (Freon was low). It comes in today, client complains it isn't very cool. At idle vent temps are right on the money (38 degrees), pressures hi and low are ...

Re: 2005 Neon SXT
The coils can't be switched, and as far as the client knows it was done preventatively. It seems late to have done it preventatively since Dodge recommends the change at 102k. But it's not inconceivable that it went to 120k. Leak down and compression check all returned normal results.

Re: 2005 Neon SXT
Its a misfire on the number 1 cylinder and the sensors are in sync. I'll ask the technician about the rest: He states the MAP readings looked normal to him. He went to drive it I'll ask him about the rest when he gets back. Thanks Jeff!

2005 Dodge Neon SXT - Mis-Fire
Hello guys, we've got a Neon in here (1B3ES56C55D134616 if needed) This is the clients first time here so I don't have a full history on it, but he bought it at about 120,000 (its at 149,554 now) he was told timing service had just been done on it (We can confirm everything looks new under the cover ...

Is there a feedback option while using ProDemand through Mitchell? Or is that only available when using ProDemand externally?

In ProDemand under fluids it states this vehicle takes a 10w30 Super Duty Oil. On the vehicle itself the oil cap states 5w20 oil. Any idea why the mismatch happened? I've only seen it happen a hand full of times and we just go off the oil cap in the vehicle (if its the OE ...

Re: Loyalty Program
The re-loadable gift card type loyalty card sounds like a much better idea than the program we used. We used a program called Royalty Rewards for a few years. The way they work is they send a special terminal for swiping their cards and then mail out coupons based on amount of points on the card ...
