Tax on printed Estimates

Post by JCADan »

How do I go about including the tax on the printed estimates. In Revision it shows tax, but not when printed.

Hi Dan,

This should be a simple matter of ensuring they are included.

Under setup look for this option and make sure it's checked.

Sorry for the late reply. I did check settings, and it is 'checked' but still will not print out the tax. I always have to write it in when giving to a customer.

Hey Dan,

We checked your database, and are not seeing any problem there, which is good news. This is one of your recent estimates in the WIP:

Looks like this is now a support matter though - you definitely should not have to write in these values. Give them a call when you have some time.

Right, it shows up in our Revision screens, but once it's printed out it doesn't show up at all! that's the image I uploaded on the original post.

I'll call them soon! Anyone I should ask for in particular or should I just explain from the beginning?

You could always just try to update first yourself. If you're on 9.1 still, that should probably be the first step. But otherwise with support they'll need to go through some troubleshooting for this one, so no need to reference anything in particular.

*Update: On further comparison, it looks like you're missing a font used in the templates. You should be able to shorten the call to support by telling them you're missing the Roboto bold font.

Quick followup: I did an update to 9.2.1.5356 and the estimate now print properly with tax!

Thank you!
