Repair Link Manual Lookup

Post by BenjaminPeterson »

Anyone else having issues manually looking up vehicles in repair link with Mitchell. If I use repair link in a browser it works fine.

I have had a few vehicles show an error when attempting to find the VIN, but most work correctly. Are you having trouble with every VIN? Did your trouble start recently?

We came across this problem a few months ago and we called RepairLink directly. They told us that it was never an option to search via year/make/model through Mitchell, but I swore up and down that it did work at one time. Good to know that I wasn't crazy. I know this isn't very helpful but we have just had to make do with the website when we didn't have a VIN to get the part numbers to call on.

My experience in the years that I have been using it has been somewhat erratic although most of the time, it works aas designed. One thing I found out when Repair Link would not function properly was that I would restart my computer and then it seemed ok after that for awhile. I'm thinking that it likely is a software glitch somewhere.
