I really wish there was a way to easier convey (thru the Mitchell ordering system) the urgency of some parts orders. It would be awesome if there was a rush icon/button/notation that could be made. If you go old school & order the part from the parts stores websites - there is usually a space that you can check if you need urgent/fast delivery. It seems to me, I get the parts, I don't need till next week right away & the ones I need right away don't come for an hour. I have tried marking urgent or asap in the memo fields - but evidently they don't show up very well on the vendor side.

Re: Parts Stores & Urgent Deliveries?
It always seems to happen that way.
Most vendors have a way to put a note on the parts invoice and that's what we use. Not all of them print because there's so many different interfaces and options on the vendor end for each interface. Making a button will be no more successful than simply using the field.
On real critical orders, we just call. So 1980, eh?
