Version 2 seems to be the best one to me.

"If you're looking to post a vehicle repair question in our WRENCH section, be ready for several replies, often within minutes. You'll get an automatic email each time someone responds to your posted question."

I have my notices shut off, and I don't remember. But are notifications set to automatically send as default?

I like the second one best also. My train of thought is a short trip before it derails.

Interesting. Working from "narrow it further" for #2, I created #3. So what does #3 lack in the process?

Need to reconcile these differences and send some out on Friday if possible. Thanks.

the wording in #3 sounds like you are talking to a no so smart person. if i got #3 as a welcome email. I would take it as though you were saying i'm an idiot.

sounds great. i may have hung in there and read it if it was thrown at me. what about a prompt on the front page when on line users open mitchell. something simple, like have you joined yet? another thing that i would just love to see (again the so much information overload) is something about tech support. i just had another great experience with them yesterday.

Version 4.5 was just sent to last 50 forum shops who have Recent Activity as BLANK. I had to take out any links so that it would go as plain text; this means we get past the ISP and spam filters better. I also added "How did you hear about us?"

After I attended the class in Atlantic City I tried to get my husband to use your Wrench section. He uses iATN now. He said it was to complicated and gave up and will not try again! So of course none of the other tech will use it either. Anything you can go to make it easier will be greatly appreciated.

We will never replace iATN, but they are surely missing out on solid peer advice here everyday in WRENCH topics. I'm thinking they find the make sub-headings too small. Show him this and it might change the way they think about it: http://managerforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=171&t=8756
