The car was not running, the key was in her purse, not the switch, dealer now saying nothing wrong, they cannot duplicate the problem, want him to pay for window and labor, more to come I am sure. Will post more when I get more info again.

Im not so sure i would be so happy about there findings I would make htem keep trying it until it did it or i would go to there shop and get it to do it so they could see it. A scanner may be able to reprogram that feature in the module I think my bosch vci can

I've turned off the auto-lock feature on everything I've owned. If I want the doors locked, I'LL lock them.

Im the same way but none of my vehicle have required me to go into the module before.

does this have the key reader option? i've worked on cars that have the reader and when you open the drivers door it reads the key presence and it will act just like the key is in the on position..........i'm not sure if it has this if it can be shut down but like ric said i would have it shut down. i now have a hide a key for my mini van.......
