Tracking Tech's Time
Tracking Tech's Time
We are looking for a way to track techs time on open ROs. We service a lot of RVs and sometimes we have to wait days, even weeks for parts. Sometimes a tech will have 3 or 4 open ROs going and we can't track the time in a report unless we close the ROs. What we want is a report to track techs punched time for the week including open and closed ROs.

Hello - Just to be sure, you're using Bolt-On Report Pro (this topic area) or you're only referencing the reports that are included with Manager SE?

Yes, in report pro. We use the time clock in Mobil manager not the one in Mitchell 1

Re: Tracking Tech's Time
Unfortunately, BOT has only a few reports in this area and none have the data you require. The closest is Outstanding Labor Hours but it only displays Charged Hours. This report would be ideal if it had actual hours as well. You may want to reach out to BOT and ask if this could be modified. If you absolutely need that kind of granularity, switching to the built in Time Manager might be a path. That's the whole reason Time Manager was added: to account for all the other 'time'. It's hard to beat the simplicity of Mobile Manager Pro punching, but design-wise it relies on posting orders.

Re: Tracking Tech's Time
We switched to the time clock in Mitchell 1 but switched back to mobile manager. doing it with Mitchell 1 and using bolt on tablets, the tech has to switch back and forth between programs and it just became a headache for the techs
